He gradually moved from project planning into the wider project management domain by helping project managers and companies improve their project, program, and portfolio management systems.

Nowadays, he spends most of his time developing eLearning courses in his small company, Management Plaza, writing books (about 50 of them so far), and contributing to standards: P3.express as part of core development team, NUPP as part of core development team, PMBOK® Guide 7th edition as part of core development team, PRINCE2® 6th edition as reviewer, PRINCE2 Agile® 1st edition as reviewer.

Nader´s topic is Project ecosystem: projects within the product lifecycle.

Using a general and broad definition of what a "product" is, any project is a structured way to create a new product or make major changes to it. Given that, what happens in the project is a subset of what happens in the product. Isn't that obvious? It is, but unfortunately, some people seem to forget or misunderstand it, which is the source of many problems these days.

So, let's see with Nader what other things are needed, and more importantly, who can be responsible for them. For example, can we expect a single project manager to be responsible for all of those things? Of course not!

Dave shows us why project & product would make a good couple?

Most enterprises have either started or accelerated their digital transformation. This is impacting the way they are organized, their way of working and the usage of technology. With the inevitable adoption of approaches such as Agile and DevOps, we also observe a fast-growing adoption of Product Management principles and practices.

But does that mean that projects are no longer useful? Does that mean there is no more room for projects and programs in a product-led company? And how can products, services, projects, programs and portfolios co-exist in this modern context, and together deliver on the desired value and experience to the customer, user, colleague or ecosystem partner?

Dave´s presentation will show the potential power of combining product and project principles and practices to achieve the most optimal results for the digital enterprise.

Pavel Jonis is a Project Manager turned consultant who has more than 15 years of experience in training and facilitation.

He has led a team of up to 70 people while implementing complex IT Transformation projects.

In his own words, Pavel decided to work as an IT PM in order to gain hands-on experience and have some practical stories to tell.

Practical application and simplicity are 2 of the most important values for Pavel and thus adoption of P3.express was a natural choice.

During presentation Pavel will analyze a practical implementation case in a financial institution that needs to adhere to DORA requirements.

The Management Team wanted to use P3.Express to reach consensus on how to work with projects and solve project management challenges while building the competencies required to move forward.

Let him dive into how exactly a unified approach to project management helps increase overall project performance and stakeholder satisfaction, enhances collaboration between departments by ensuring project start is not a surprise to the majority of one's organization and ultimately alleviates pressure from the project managers as teams become more self-sufficient.
