Our Prague, Czech Republic Training Venue

Prague Castle & Charles Bridge At Night Prague Charles Bridge

Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Situated on the Vltava River in central Bohemia, the history of Prague spans thousands of years, and the city has been the political, cultural and economic centre of the Czech state for more than 1100 years. For many decades during the Gothic and Renaissance eras, Prague was the permanent seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and thus was also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Today, the city proper is home to more than 1,2 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of over 1,9 million. Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, making the city one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, receiving more than 4 million international visitors annually.Prague is easily reachable both by private & public transport:

  • The Prague-Ruzyně International Airport (PRG), located 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of the city centre, hosts frequent regular flights from/ to many European destinations (being e.g. the hub of Czech Airlines and Smart Wings). With 12,7 million passengers in 2008 it is the busiest airport within the new EU member states. It was named the best airport in Central and Eastern Europe by Skytrax in 2005 and 2007.
  • The city forms the hub of the Czech railway system, with services to all parts of the Czech Republic and abroad.
  • The motorway network connects Prague to Germany, Slovakia, and of course to Czech Republic destinations.

Our Prague open training courses are usually held at the Parkhotel Prague Pruhonice***, which we also recommend to our residential students seeking accomodation. It is situated in the quiet Pruhonice suburb just a 15 minutes drive from the centre of Prague. The venue is easily accessible by the municipal bus & metro systems, and just 500 metres away from the nearest exit of the E65/D1 motorway Prague-Brno-Bratislava/Vienna. The hotel is nestled next to Pruhonice Castle and the UNESCO-protected Botanical Gardens, and features multiple services exceeding its declared three star standard (a very practical one is an own closed & CCTV-monitored car park, which is free of charge for our course participants).

When attending one of our PraguePRINCE2 certification courses, you will receive our full Quality, Training Date, Best Price & Know-How Retention guarantees.
